24 Hour Emergency Plumber — Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Burst pipes, major leaks, blocked drains and failed plumbing fixtures — anything causing damage or leaving a property without usable water or drainage. If you're unsure, call 01530 441064 and we'll talk it through.
How much does an emergency plumber cost?
The first 90 minutes on site is £145 between 9am and 5pm, £195 between 5pm and 8pm, and £300 between 8pm and 8am, including VAT. After that it is charged by the hour at the rate for that time of day. Parts and materials are on top, and we'll tell you what's needed before we fit it.
How fast can you get to me?
We prioritise emergency call-outs and respond as quickly as we can. Ring us rather than sending an enquiry form so we can give you a realistic arrival time straight away.
What should I do while I wait?
If water is escaping, turn off the stopcock to isolate the supply. We'll talk you through anything else that helps limit the damage when you call.
Do you work on rental properties?
Yes. We work for landlords and letting agents as well as homeowners, and can deal directly with tenants to arrange access where that's easier.
What happens after the emergency is dealt with?
We test the repair to confirm the problem is resolved, explain what caused it, and invoice afterwards. If the fault has damaged other parts of the property, we can carry out the related repairs too.
