Who we are

Precision Property Works is a self-employed, owner-run business based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. We give customers a one-stop service for property maintenance, repairs and renovations: one call, one invoice, every trade coordinated.

Demand is already there, and we need more good people to meet it. We're looking for subcontractors in a range of trades who want extra work and would like to be part of a team that takes pride in doing things properly.

What we're looking for

Your own business

Self-employed or a limited company, and ideally already registered with HMRC under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).

Your own van and tools

You turn up equipped for the job, with the right kit to do it properly.

Your own insurance

Public liability cover of at least £2 million. Employers’ liability too, if anyone works for you.

Qualified for your trade

Gas Safe, NICEIC or NAPIT, or the recognised qualifications for your trade, with the certificates to go with them.

Skilled, and proud of it

Work you would be happy to put your name to, finished properly and left tidy.

Caring with customers

You treat people’s homes with respect, explain things clearly and keep them updated.

Reliable

You reply promptly and turn up when you say you will. If something changes, you tell us.

Based within reach of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, covering Leicestershire and Derbyshire.

What you get

  • We do a lot of the talking. We look after the customer, so you can get on with the work.
  • Paid either way. You’re paid on completion against a proper invoice, whether or not the customer has paid us yet.
  • Multi-trade support. If a job needs more than one trade, we bring in the rest of the team and coordinate it.

We're VAT registered, so if you are too, your invoices to us go under the domestic reverse charge for construction services: you don't add VAT, and we account for it.
