Tony needed a reliable outside tap installed to make garden watering and outdoor cleaning easier, without running hoses through the house.
What we did
We installed a new external brass tap, securely fixed through the brickwork and connected internally with proper isolation. A non-return valve was fitted to comply with regulations and protect the mains supply from backflow.
The result
A clean, solid installation that looks neat on the exterior, is easy to access, and ready for year-round use. No leaks, no mess, and no compromise on compliance.
Tony wanted a simple improvement that would make day to day life easier, a proper outside tap so he could water the garden and clean down outdoor areas without trailing hoses through the house.
We started by identifying the best internal feed point and the cleanest route through the wall, keeping pipework discreet and disruption to a minimum. A new brass external tap was installed, securely fixed to the brickwork, complete with a non-return valve to protect the mains supply and ensure full compliance.
Once connected and pressure-tested, everything was sealed and finished neatly so the installation looked like it had always been there. The result was a robust, tidy outside tap that’s ready for regular use and built to last.
The customer was really pleased with how clean the work looked and the fact that it was done properly first time — a small upgrade, but one that makes outdoor jobs quicker, easier, and far less hassle.
