Our customer in Swadlincote contacted PPW after their shower enclosure failed, causing water to leak every time the shower was used. They were looking for a replacement shower tray and enclosure to stop the leak and prevent any further damage to their bathroom.
What we did
Once we removed the old shower tray, we discovered the leak had caused the timber floor beneath to rot. Thanks to our multi-trade experience, we were able to repair the damaged floor immediately without delaying the project or bringing in additional contractors.
With the structural repairs complete, we installed a brand-new shower tray and enclosure before fitting Hydro Floor Premium LVT flooring throughout the bathroom. The new flooring not only provides a durable, waterproof finish but also gave the entire room a fresh, modern look.
The result
What started as a straightforward shower replacement became a complete bathroom refresh. The hidden structural damage was fully repaired, the leak was permanently resolved, and the customer now has a stylish bathroom finished with a high-quality shower enclosure and premium LVT flooring that will stand up to everyday use for years to come.
